In the 90s, there was a small revolution happening in the post production world. Video cameras became available to "everyone". But editing was still a linear process that many people skipped. The early days of non-linear editing was both complex, expensive, time consuming, resource demanding - and user experience was questionable as complexity was high and limits of computers were pushed often resoluting in at times instable solutions. Fast forward to today, and we can do on our phones what wasn't even possible before.
However, many of the ground rules of professional video editing soluitons todya was laid out decades ago. Partly because editors seldomly work in isolation, but often multiple editors at different locations need managed access to the same media, and work on breaking news together. While simple on the front end, this do require both a plan and infrastrucutre to make media flow. With experience from different parts of production and post-production, we can help clients find the most efficient ways of working.
We love finding what works, and what does not.
Then find the best ways forward doing more of what works, and less of what does not. We know it sounds simple, but it works. By not changing everything, but rather find what works, it is easier for people feel more involved, appreciated and valued.
While many vendors will push their "end-to-end" workflows, in most cases you would need to combine equipment from multiple vendors to bet your deliveries done. Also, you may have excisting equipment you want to use. We can help manage the integration process, working with vendors and clients.
Working close with the customers, we find the right tools for the job. Can new features from the vendors already installed help solve problems? Are there aother tools on the market that can help collaboration? Development is moving faster then ever, and it can be difficult to stay up-to-date.
Many great projects fail in delivery. We have extensive experience delivering projects where we focus on both techology and people.
